Youth Poetry Final This Friday

After several months, youth poets from Illinois to Jefferson County will converge in Old North St. Louis this Friday at 6 for the VerbQuake Indie Championship. The winner of this competition will be named the Youth Poetry Slam Champion. The top 6 poets will form the UrbArts Youth Poetry Slam team and represent the region at Brave New Voices in the summer of 2019.  Past champions include two-time winner Joi McClain of Metro A&C.  Buy your tickets here:  $15 adv tix.
