Home / John K. Blair

The Bio:

John Blair is a photographer and an artist.   He is an adjunct instructor in English Composition and Psychology at a trade colleges in St. Louis, MO.  He is a contributing writer for All The Art, a visual arts quarterly magazine in St. Louis, MO.  He has a Doctorate of Ministry and Masters of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.  He has a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.  He has exhibited his art work in solo and group art shows in several galleries in St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri.  He describes his art work as deeply grounded in a post-modern perspective that assumes meaning is primarily subjective and created between the interaction of what is observed and experienced.  He is interested in the interplay where creativity evolves from the space of the observation and the experience of it thereby becoming something unique, independent from its creative origins, and for lack of a better word, real.
